We offer the total solution adapted to suit the applications requirements so that every barcode tracking enquiry can be matched with
a solution. The solution covers all the elements required to perform the task from code selection to system communications.
We provide a boxed complete package or you can select the elements you need and provide the rest yourself.
Unique identification
labels/tags
Barcode labels with sequential unique numbering can be supported in a variety of materials and adhesives. Metaled,
plastic, paper, high tack adhesive, oil and grease proof, most environments can be provided for. 1D or 2D codes are easily applied.
Radio
Frequency Identification Tags (RFID), a radio frequency transponder that emits a unique unalterable code number supplied in a different
housing formats to suit the requirement, such as a nail for pallets, a screw or dick for machines or self-adhesive badges for IT equipment.
Hardware
We
provide solutions where possible with hardware that is not over subscribed on sales websites. Additionally where required, preferences
can be catered for and projects logged with manufacturers where they offer project protection. As a low cost proprietary terminal
we offer the CipherLab CPT8001, alternatively as a low cost Windows based unit the Newland PT980 terminal. The portable terminal
as part of a solution can operate with any Windows CE or mobile operating system, android is also available.
Some applications
may also require fixed position, tethered or cordless scanners with CCD, laser or 2D readers all of which are fully specified for
you.
Software
At the heart of any good tracking system there is a solid database, secure but flexible. It needs to be easy to
set up and maintained but also have the flexibility to change as the application grows or alters direction. We have put many
years of experience into producing systems to match this criteria.
An easy to view and practical spreadsheet format suits most
requirements where field headings can be easily moved about and adapted to suit the final customers needs. Plus drop down look
up tables for field entry eliminated repetitive typing. Each line of entry can be integrated for history and Excel reports can
easily be generated of most screen views.
The software needs to provide two elements, the second is a portable terminal solution that is easy to use so that operators see working
benefits and make use of all the latest technologies in communications to easily and efficiently get the gathered data into the collecting
database.
Communication
The PC/server application can be stand alone, multi user VPN or a web based managed database allowing
the system to grow with the customer and adapt to their needs. Managed databases offer web based solutions that allow the use
of the latest stare of the art servers at a fraction of their cost, supported by trained staff and maintained to ensure perpetual
use. They are fully encrypted with the highest level of security and regularly backed up, all ensuring the data is secure
bur accessible to use anywhere in the world.
