Our Healthcare solution is a highly flexible, user friendly solution ideal for many hospital or healthcare application that requires
assets, equipment or samples to be tracked. There are many applications within these environments from outpatient loan of wheel
chairs to patients within the community to intensive care departments keeping track of equipment that accompanies a patent to a ward.
In addition to this it is also important to know when equipment needs to be calibrated and maintained. Our system deals
with all this and much more in one easy-to-use solution.
Below are some of the applications or solution has already covered:
Sample
tests and results - When the sample is received in a laboratory its barcode is scanned logging the receipt of the sample.
Tests are carried out on the sample and recorded on the system. Use of a barcode scanner in the laboratory greatly speeds up
the recording of these tests and the system will log the results of each test using a drop down look at tables combines with manual
entry. When the samples need to be stored the system will also log where they are kept and the date and time they were
put away.
Asset Tracking - Hospitals and care homes have a number of valuable assets. These include items such as laptops,
PC's, printers and other non-medical equipment held on the ward. Reports can be run on the location of any given item
and the history of its movement in the case of loss. There is also a depreciation module showing when the item was brought
and its estimated current value.
Patient Sample Labels - Using a portable data terminal and a portable Bluetooth printer,
labels can be applied to samples taken from patients. The system can then also track with barcodes the destination and receipt
of the samples, and then further be used to record the test results.
Tracking Laundry - The software solution keeps track
of the issue of bed linen, gowns and other items from laundry, monitoring their progress to and from the laundry store to the ward.
Issue
of Equipment to Patients - The system can track the movement of items such as oxygen cylinders, breathing apparatus, crutches, Zimmer
frames etc.. which can very easily go astray. With our system the items whereabouts is logged so their location can be determined
at any given time.
Internal Mail Tracking - Couriers and van drivers use a portable data terminal and our mail tracking
solution software to track the collection and delivery of internal mail around the internal hospital sites such as wards and clinics
